This Service is designed to enhance our clients’ independence by aiding them in accomplishing tasks to meet daily, short-term, and long-term goals that will enable them to thrive in areas of need such as health and wellness, meal preparation,  financial management, and transportation. This is a planned or emergency temporary care service that takes place in the participants’ homes and communities and provides short-term relief for primary caregivers by allowing them to rest and engage in other activities. Respite Care helps sustain caregiver health and wellness and reduce the likelihood of abuse and neglect caused by stress and overwork. At Excel, we focus on keeping our clients safe, comfortable, and engaged in preferred activities during the care period.
